We have even more great news to share with our families and community!  AAA students have achieved even higher California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) scores in 2024.  AAA student growth/performance have far exceeded state and national performance in closing the learning gaps caused by the Pandemic’s educational disruption. In fact, based on 2024 CAASPP achievement scores, AAA has officially closed all Pandemic performance gaps campus-wide!

The non-profit organization Educational Results Partnership (ERP) has released its annual “Honor Roll” list of California’s top performing schools, in partnership with the state’s business leaders. This is the ninth year that ERP has completed the Honor Roll list, which recognizes top public schools, school districts and charter schools that have outperformed their peers in closing achievement gaps, particularly among higher-poverty and historically disadvantaged student populations.

This year 1,430 schools and 109 school districts in California made the Honor Roll. This is approximately 17 percent of all schools and 14 percent of all school districts in the state. The full list of Honor Roll schools is now posted at edresults.org/honor-roll.

“This year’s Honor Roll shines a positive light on schools where students are learning the fundamental skills that employers value and look for,” said Dan Kinney ERP’s Board Chair.  “We are proud to recognize these higher performing schools and plan on learning more about their best practices for accelerating student learning in the critical areas of reading, writing and math.”

Based on 2023 CAASPP and state demographic data, AAA can claim the most unique academic success of any high performing California middle school!

2023 data shows AAA defies socio-economic stereotypes, does more with less, embraces diversity and delivers some of the highest student performance in California!
