AAA/CAL CouGator Track Team Shines! The AAA/CAL CouGator Track Team performed well in its first/last meet of 2023! The Girls relay team came in 3rd! Our 7th grade boys relay team came in 3rd! Evan Mendoza came in first place for the 8th grade 100m sprint! Go CouGators!

Zane Andrade is the AAA September-October Student of Excellence! Zane is a talented 6th grade student and a driving force at AAA. Kinetically gifted, Zane is the first to volunteer to help in class, in the garden, on the playground and on the football field. This summer when the garden was boasting 6 ft. weeds, Zane came with motorized tools and took them all down. In his 6th grade online class, Mrs. Helgevold singled Zane out as someone she can always count on to help and participate. On the flag football field Zane has great hands and his competitive nature always makes games fun!

AAA is in the gardening business! 50 fourth and fifth graders are planning and "plotting" in the Cal/AAA Garden. HSD's Maintenance and Operation professionals Ernie, Gilberto, Chon and Hector spent Saturday with parent Tom Day clearing out weeds, raking up leaves, roto-tilling compost and putting in and filling boxes with enriched Hollister soil! Thanks to our many community partners for their gardening expertise and donations. Our garden would not grow without the expertise of Matt Morris from Masterpiece Landscapes, compost from Betto at Z-Best Products, boxes from Matt Gibson at Gibson Farms and plants and seeds from Sakara! Thank you!
